About

I'm Michelle Farnsworth-Kimberling and my least favourite question is "Where are you from?".  I don't have a short and simple answer, but if you really want to know, here's the list (you were warned!): Michigan, Panama, Arizona, Washington, Utah, Idaho, New York City, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and now London!

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from Brigham Young University, and have been photographing weddings, engagements, and family portraits since 2003.  After college, I moved to Washington, DC and spent 10 years working at the National Archives and Records Administration where I ran a Digital Imaging Lab and was able to work in both the imaging sciences as well as fine art photography.  I had some pretty unforgettable experiences at the National Archives (photographing the 1297 Magna Carta, and documenting visits from POTUS, FLOTUS, and HRH The Prince of Wales being just a few small examples) and my job allowed me to keep up with emerging technology while maintaining the preservation of the records of the United States.

Now I'm married to a proper English gentleman, living in London, and figuring out life in a new country!  I love to vacation in the countryside so I can photograph beautiful landscapes, but I'm most definitely a city girl.  Follow me on instagram for a peek into daily life: @michellefarnsworth
